Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PenEarn uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our website and services. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as staying signed in) across pages and visits.

How we use cookies

We keep cookie usage to a minimum and use them primarily to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. Specifically:

  • penhub_auth_token — an HTTP-only cookie that holds your authentication token. It's required to use the Service while signed in.
  • penhub_user — a small, non-sensitive cookie storing your username, id, and role so the interface can render without an extra round-trip.
  • A sidebar preference cookie that remembers whether your navigation is expanded or collapsed.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent you from using signed-in features of the Service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
